We are an unaccompanied harmony group with material from the folk tradition and thereabouts who have gained a reputation for tight and inventive harmony singing.

Our repertoire includes arrangements of songs from some of the best of today’s songwriters including Richard Thompson, Pete Morton, Maggie Holland as well as a good helping of traditional material.

Regulars at many clubs and festivals, we released "Out of the Darkness" in 1997 to enthusiastic reviews.

In 1999 we recorded several songs for the transportation section of the "Galleries of Justice" museum in Nottingham.

Our second album "Nothing Spoken" came out in 2003 - the title was taken from a featured Pete Morton song.

The third album, Faithful Heart came out in June 2008 - a full track list is here.

The latest (Aug 2013) album is "On the Doorstep" - details here. It was produced by John Adams and recorded by Jon Loomes at his studio in Ripponden. See pictures from the session here.

We think that it is our best work to date and it's had favourable reviews. Baz Parkes in English Dance & Song said "On the Doorstep is an object lesson in how a recording of unaccompanied singing should sound... the harmonies are stunning." Pete James on 103fm said it was "a wonderful choice of songs.. all superbly sung and recorded", while Dave Sutherland writing in the Tigerfolk newsletter said "another collection of high quality, well thought out close harmonies.. guaranteed to encourage the listener to seek out the next live performance."

All four CDs can be bought from this site. Sample tracks from the CD are on Soundcloud and clips from concerts/clubs etc on YouTube. More photos and current news can be found on our Facebook page.
